In 2022, my wife and I were renting a unit in Henderson, NV, managed by Ashley Moya while she was employed at Avenue 5. We informed her about ongoing harassment from the tow truck company she collaborated with, which escalated to the driver brandishing a firearm at us. We filed a police report regarding the incident.
Under duress, Ashley Moya convinced us to sign a liability waiver, promising that we could terminate our lease early without any penalties. However, after we left, she fabricated false claims of "pet damages" in an attempt to extort money from us on behalf of her employer. This matter has been sent to collections, but there is no court judgment, and we refuse to pay it.
We are a normal family, and we've been fortunate enough to move forward in life without this affecting us significantly. Nonetheless, we've chosen to maintain this permanent review of her unethical conduct through this website to inform others who she may seek to harm. As victims, this site is intended to hold Ashley accountable for attempting to extort money from us after a partner of the company brandished a firearm at us. Since she fraudulantly invented pet damage to retaliate against us after coercing us to sign a liability waver we have no other means to hold her accountable. Thus this qualifies as both public interest and truth as absolute defense.
